Amazing Surrealism Portrait Paintings by Kaitlyn Page on Trendy Art Ideas
My proper noun is Kaitlyn Folio and I'yard a 25 twelvemonth former Erie, Pennsylvania based watercolor & mixed media fine artist who enjoys exploring depth and significant behind unity, oneness with self, psychology behind emotions and feelings, and man's human relationship/interconnectedness with the natural earth. I would describe my work as beingness based on the surreal, psychedelia, and reality. I attempt to use these elements to create an ethereal and otherworldly realm where the metaphysical and natural world see. I've always had a strong love for nature, meticulous detail, mysterious symbolism, and surrealism, which can often exist found in my work.
I've been drawing and painting for as long every bit I can remember, but I never actually saw myself every bit existence a professional creative person at a young age. Becoming an artist came with time, just as near good things do. I struggled for several years thinking I should have gone to college to study art, or that I had no real direction as to where I wanted to accept information technology. These things collection me to do what I practise now and I have been working as a freelance artist since graduating highschool, although I really didn't kickoff to get anywhere until several years later. The first few years of my career was focussed solely on commission work, but as of contempo, I have gotten abroad from this to focus more than on things that genuinely inspire me to create. For the most part, I found commissions to be very stressful. I wanted to FEEL something; a spark that envelops you when you get an idea. That idea can give me the most visceral experience considering I imagine what it would feel like to put down on paper and it's simply glorious. It's more of an urge than but a simple desire to paint. I often enter into a "flow land," where zippo else effectually me matters except for the earth I am immersed in when painting and listening to music. It'southward a place where the outside world can exist tuned out and my inner earth can be turned on.
People often ask where I become my inspiration from and how I work with watercolors in such a item oriented style. I've always been someone who was driven by the idea of perfecting something. I've too always loved tiny details. As a child, I adored tiny replicas for their many infinitesimal details. Details make my globe become round and I call back working in watercolors satisfies this part of my natural desire for these things. Watercolor is a hard medium that requires a lot of patience and many layers working with tiny brushes. You tin't afford to mess up a watercolor painting because there is no way to paint over imperfections. Every detail needs extreme attention and information technology's the perfect claiming for someone like myself. ~ Kaitlyn Page
